Roadtrip - Wisconsin to Arizona - October 2022
Next stop, Phoenix! But first..... We left Wisconsin in Mid October. Once we mapped everything out we noticed that we would be passing Cadillac Ranch just outside of Amarillo, TX. It was a neat roadside stop and a piece of Americana that's really neat to see. There is a stand selling cans of spray paint so you can "leave your mark" on the cars stuck in the ground, but we passed a family that was nice enough to hand-off their unused spray paint so we could partake. We paid it forward before leaving and handed them off to another family. We knew we wanted to spend a bit of time in New Mexico, so after a couple hotel stays and roadside attraction stops(Iowa, Kansas & Texas), we finally made it to our Airbnb in Albuquerque, NM. We stayed about 5 nights and explored the area. We loved it! It's so different from our norm. We took the Sandia Peak Tramway (cable car) to the top of the Sandia Mountains.
